Hmm... With the conflicts with the University expansion... I wonder if the Spanish community has reported it to EA Spain and if that's the case they *may* release a fixed pack at a later date that doesn't conflict. Of course I'm just hypothesizing, they might not do anything with it.

Okay I tried out the Spanish forum and did find a post regarding the female skin Amaia, there are two versions, the one we have downloaded shown in a bodyshop picture, then another in a black dress shown in game. There is no mention about the guy Pablo but in both pictures his hair is different.
I have also found some more exclusive content from spain, The title page La Web Oficial del videojuego de Los Sims
http://www.portalmix.com/lossims/...rgas/navidad/especial_navidad.php
I have not had time to check it fully out, I am currently working on the russian site. |

Wow... There's some real nice Christmas themed lots and skins there.
Would have been nice to have them on www.thesims2.com so that the larger community could have got them...
Don't get me wrong, I liked the Santa/Elf costumes in the Stuff Pack but only so many Sims can wear them before it gets silly...
If I'd had them during Christmas it would have added some nice variety to my Sim's Christmas...
Oh well there's always next year.
And with the Seasons Expansion released this year that can look forward to a very festive White Christmas! |

Hmm... Looking at the site...
It appears as though the downloads are down.
They were originally hosted in 2004, so it doesn't look like an error.
Did anyone else manage to get them?
Or know of an alternate source to download them from? |

I wish I had known they were going to take them off line, I only downloaded a few to test because there was over 41 megabytes worth of files on that page. Since Christmas was over, I figured I would wait, I really wanted that Friskies collection out of Italy since it went so nicely with Pets. |

What Friskies collection is that?
Is it official?
Where can I find it?
Also were the Spanish Christmas downloads active this Christmas?
Just if that's the case then I guess they're hosted anually at Christmas and therefore worse case scenario we could just wait till next Christmas and download them all then. Lol. |

I downloaded three files on the 26th of December, I do remember there were a few I could not get a file size on, one being a female child dressed in white with wings.
Okay the Italian Friskies collection is a promotional items for Friskies Dog and Cat food and consist of a lot store plus items for the store all with the friskies logo on it.
As for it being offical, I will let you interpret it and let you draw your own conclusion. My stance is if it is downloaded from the official servers then it is official if it falls into one of three categories, Maxis made, Made for Maxis by authorized third parties, and only fan made contest material submited, promoted, downloadable, in the site news.
This collection is exclusively made by sim2cri for EA Italy

Hmm... Interesting...
Do you have any sort of link to a web page detailing what the download is, perhaps one that details what's in the pack, why it was made and who by? |

Personally I've never considered fan made contest entries to be official, the only exception being the 2 contest winning outfits put into Nightlife by Maxis.
Looking at the Friskies Stuff though, I'd consider it an authorized add-on made for EA to help promote The Sims and Friskies.
Although it'd help if I could see some sort of page detailing the add-on. |

I traded information from the TheSim2.com for the 2005 Christmas official objects that are no longer available on the exchange for a direct link to the Friskies collection with the additional information to watch the Italian site news for the announcement of its release. Sorry I could not be of any additonal help with information on this collection. |
