I have all the EP's and SP's so I am not willing to buy the deluxe or double deluxe... but the Bonus DVD mentioned at the bottom of this page here http://thesims2.ea.com/about/doubledeluxe_index.php seems pretty cool. Cool

But that bonus disc is the same as in the regular Sims 2 Deluxe, isn't it?

I for one do not see something special in it, the tricks from the programmers are probably the same ones found on the www all over.

Yes I think you are right DermalCut, and I have done a bit of searching around, and the disk is over 2gb Shocked

Isn't it the same DVD that came with the DVD edition of the base game back in 2004?

Also, distributing the DVD through this forum would give EA more than enough reason to take legal action against the administrators. At the moment, everything on this forum is completely legal.

Yes, EAxis seems to recycle the same DVD they included in the TS2 Deluxe. I see absolutely nothing special about it.

Unlike TS2 Deluxe, no mention of preorder bonus can be found.

I think I'd probably acquire it, so that I can have 2 less packs to install the next time I perform the Dance of 15 Discs.

copying game disks will bring down legal action from EAxis because of the copyright issues, more than anything. it's pirating, and highly illegal.

i can tell you exactly what is on the Bonus DVD, as i got it with TS2 Deluxe, as well as the original TS2 DVD edition.

it has a walkthrough of the game, now it has a bunch of tips, that can be found all over the site, as well as that family tree game where you guess the parents of the child.

That's it, nothing worth wanting, or risking prison for pirating a worthless DVD. Wink
