Sims 3 Hawaiian Floral Pattern Pre-order BonusLooks like EA are upto their old tricks.If you pre-order from play.com, you will receive an exclusive Hawaiian Floral Pattern: http://www.play.com/Games/PC/4-/5310447/The-Sims-3/Product.html Not quite upto the standard of the car that's already been offered. But looks like we're in for a future of multiple pre-order exclusives for the Sims 3 and its numerous expansions. 
On a related note... No mention of a Collector's Edition release in the UK yet. I sincerely hope that EA aren't leaving Europe out in regards to that, otherwise come February, I won't be a very happy Simmer. -.- |

Amazon.co.uk *had* the Collector's Edition but they mysteriously removed it at some point.
Hopefully we'll hear some news very soon but they better hurry up with The Sims 3's upcoming released drawing ever nearer. |

Would you get a different exclusive download if you pre order the game in a different store? Let say like in Target or EB Games or others?
I hope it's not going to be like in Sims2 packs where they put the sticker outside of the wraper where others can just take them off without buying the game. |

Yes, that appears to be the case.
So far EA have revealed that if you pre-order the Collector's Edition from their EA Store that you'll get an extra car as your exclusive download. Where as if you pre-order from www.play.com , then you'll receive the floral pattern that I mentioned above. So as you can see that's already two different pre-order bonuses available for the base game alone. |

I think we're all still on the lookout for that floral pattern, plus two others.
There's one called Mod Squares and another called Géométrique. This link is to a blog with a picture of all of the patterns: http://www.infinitesims.com/games/sims3/gallery.html?catid=141 The image of the chair and the girl in the blue dress are both of the circle pattern, just in different colors. The girl with the guitar is in the vines pattern; the girl with the laptop is wearing the floral; the girl working out is in the mod squares and the girl barbecuing is in the géométrique pattern. |
