Merry Christmas 2007 from Germany!The official German website has an Advent Calendar, similar to the one from the main US site from a couple of years ago but with a brand new set of objects.
http://de.sims.ea.phosworks.se/pages.view_page.asp?id=633 Each day the calendar will release a new Christmas themed object to download and add to your game. So of course today you can only open the first window. Good news though, for once you actually don't need to be registered with the website to be able to download the items. Therefore I won't zip up and store the object elsewhere. Wouldn't want to spoil the fun of being able to open the calendar daily for a new present. 
However I will zip up and store the entire set elsewhere soon after day 24, so that they can be accessed after Christmas incase the downloads get taken down. 
Anyway here's looking forward to the next 24 days and hoping we get some great objects for our game!

This one is done by Murano from TSR exclusively for Maxis.
I have been told that it can not be recolored. Today's download is a winter house made by Hügö of www.huegoe.de BTW: the translation in the code field is quite bad. Done with a translation tool like google, isn't it? It is supposed to mean: Already the Romans used candles for lighting. Do the same to create a cozy atmosphere. Take care that the advent bouquet (or wreath?) does not catch fire. Otherwise the candles may burn down faster than you might like, and you will stand in the dark. |

the official deutsch website. Meh...
