You can get all The Sims Stories bonus items from here http://old.thesims2.co.za/ just click on 'Community' then 'Downloads'. There's also loads of other stuff for The Sims 2.

Sims Pet Stories has a preorder bonus. This is the preorder from Best Buy. I hope the link works. If it doesn't let me know and I can put the password and link to the site on here. I think Target may also have one. I would like to know if anyone got the game from Target, and if it does have a bonus item if someone could post it

I doubt that since the file is in a ".simsLSpack" format and not in the ".sims2pack" format of the sims 2 game. |

it also works if you just rename it; the lamp works fine since it contains all the models/textures/object data but other stuff (such as the drum set) rely on parts already in Life Stories. The only thing worth while is the lamp anyway, since everything else is from expansion packs.

I have upped all the Sims Life Stories bonus items here http://www.megaupload.com/?d=RK2Z8SSA in the file there is the club cube, the drum set, the karaoke machine, the stereo jukebox, the electro dance sphere, the DJ booth, the neon bar and the floor lamp.

EDIT: I found a third pet stories preorder bonus, I'm not sure what it is since I don't have pet stories, but I guess it's the cowplant from The Sims 2 University (based on the name). It can be found here: http://ts2downloads.freespaces.com/ps.html (the "Career Cowplant") enjoy PS: there's no need to register there to get the file. it's free.

Hi, onika1987. you don't need the installer at all, all you have to do is change the file's name "xxxx.SimsPSPack" or "xxxx.SimsLSPack" into "xxxx.Sims2Pack" (the x's are the file's name. Just change the extension). Aroenai mencioned above that all you have to do is change the file's name. Like this. It works, I've tried it myself.

EDIT: Although this technique works with every objects, only the floor lamp (Life Stories download) will show up, since the other objects are already in expansions. |

Well here's hoping we see some more *exclusive* Sims Stories content that can easily be added to The Sims 2 base game. Or better yet... How about some more free downloads from www.thesims2.com generally? I mean is it just me or are we still waiting on those additional 2 Ford Car downloads that were promised soon afer the release of the first one?

I agree with you Paladin, I think we should get more downloads, I mean, the only downloads I've seen recently are those themed packs of the fashion contest to create new clothes. And I'm not interested on them. I can't wait to put my hands on the next two cars, or any other cool downloads that might appear on The Sims 2 official website. | ||

Yes, I've added the Retro Floorlamp to my Sims 2 game using the above method and it works perfectly. As for the pinball machine, it's already in The Sims 2 so there's no need to add it as it'll just overwrite the one that's already included. Makes no difference other than adding the custom content star onto the thumbnail for the pinball machine in Buy Mode. Although if you've already installed the pinball machine by mistake and having that star there is really bugging you for some reason, you can simply delete the *new* pinball machine by clicking on the delete custom content button in Buy Mode whilst the pinball machine is selected, then just re-start your Sims 2 game and you should find that your pinball machine has been restored to how it was originally sans custom content star. |

i just wanted to add to the bottom of this post, if i may. i placed some of those "hidden" and "Lost/Found" objects from www.modthesims2.com in my PetStories folder, when i opened them for TS2.
i found that the objects showed up in PetStories, also worked perfectly, even though some of them did not even show up in the catalogs for TS2!! So it may be worth it to include the "Hidden/Lost/Found" items from TS2, on the list of items usable by LifeStories and PetStories. |
