GimpI didn't know where to ask this question so i placed it here. I have downlaoded gimp paint program or whatever it is. but i do know its something like adobe the thing is i cann't afford that rigth now. so am a little lost on how i install the gimp on my computer can some help me please or aleats uploaded on that can be installed like adobe or photoshop would. am new to this please help am a little lost. |

You sure you got the right GIMP?
I know theres a Linux/Source Code/Windows/Mac OS X version. You might of got the wrong one. Knowing you, your most likely using Windows. Most people do. |

This is what I am currently using, all GIMP versions need the GTK+2 Runtime Environoment. This may be the reason your version is not working for you. The GIMP for Windows (version 2.2.17) http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/stable.html Also need to run GIMP GTK+ 2 Runtime Environment (version 2.10.13, for Windows 2000 and newer) There is also help files which are optional, choose your language to download. |
