Are you going to get Freetime EP ? I tried it yesterday.I tried FT about 1 and a half hour at EA TH yesterday and I love it ; they told me it will release here around Feb 26th.
All the detail I got are already been posted on fansites and EA TH do not allow me to post the detail I got on site outside Thailand.
Genie's lamp is really disappointing ; it is useless after 3 wishes, it no longer has any action on it after 3wishes, but I did not have time to try it on the next day so I do not know that it is 3 wishes per day or not --it is really an object, not an NPC.
I love the koi pond and shining&sparking star rug that I did not know what is the good point to have it, but it is is cool.
After I tried FT, it made waiting for it worse because sometimes I open my game and found that I did not get FT yet.
I tried it in EA TH meeting room and the view outside he windows is hotel swimming pool with people in their swimwears. I still wondering how can they concentrate on their meeting with that view outside that room ; they must be really professional.  The office room is on 7th floor next to a hotel.
But it is not likely that EA will come here so here are something about FT.
The new neighborhood has 6 premade families, 2 families in family bin, and 4 new lots in house bin.
I used one of family in family bin and use boolProp to get the detail.
The 1st thing I did was trying to get genie with cheat ( spawn>Genie lamp ), then max all the enthusiasm bars.
I do not like a lot of hairs and clothes, it also has magician and crown outfits.
It has accessory, but it has lesser styles than BV.
I did not use any of the aspiration benefits.
I tried all the new career rewards ; my favorite is the koi pond, but I still can not find the good point of using entertainerer's reward.
I tries the sewing machine and the one you use the made pottery, but I did not get any badge yet.
I went to secret lots of 'Game' and enter in game contest, but I lose.
I can finished that car and it is cool.
I love the train set and I wish to have it in reallife.
Sims are too much like me now with browsing web and writing blog.
I tried Thai edition of FT.
It is still use SecuRom!

Yes well. I think the SecuRom issues are a way too stupid, but I'll buy it for sure. I have the crapy Bon Voyage.

Ive actually stopped playing, sadly.
I will wait for TS3!

It looks like it will offer a lot to some of the existing game functions with more options to choose from. I will be pre-ordering it next week, but have no plans to immediately install it. I will wrap up the Sim 2 collection with all the expansion packs to make it complete. Sadly this may very well be the end of the Sim line for me.

FreeTime is supposed to be the last EP made for TS2. I don't know if I'll go on to TS3. I'm certainly not investing alot of money or time in it if it's not a huge improvement over TS2.

I remember, I brought the ENTIRE TS1 collections. It costed me over 100$. And thats with rebates and free games and such.
Next week later TS2 came out. I was devastated.
