The official German website has revealed a further four pre-order bonuses along with the Glowstation that we already knew about.
http://www.diesims2.de/redemption.view_page.asp?id=31 The new additions include 2 expensives tvs, a new stereo system and a new chair. Quite an impressive collection of pre-order bonuses this time, nice to have a selection of functional objects as opposed to purely decorative ones for a change. 
Now let's hope that by some miracle that they're compliant with the new Freetime functions too... But we'll see huh? 
(Be even better if they were included with Apartment Life to begin with too... However that's the purpose of this site, to ensure that we all get them anyway. )

Thank you, I did not notice that because I was too busy the last few days preparing for an important exam, so no time to visit sims.de
I wonder why the computer was translated so badly. to glow means glühen in German, however the Computer is called Brüllstation, which means Growlstation. Not much sense, I think. I would not get my hopes up about Freetime Functions... I am pretty sure EA knows about MATYs (Lord Darcy amongst others) work in updating and converting these items and simply lets them do the dirty work. |

Of course I'm not optimistic about the Freetime functions being included, seen expansion pack functions left out of objects a few too many times now. As for allowing others to update their objects, you must remember that technically none of us should have these objects unless we pre-ordered them, that includes their updated counterparts. So going by that belief, EA/Maxis should endeavour to keep their objects updated for those that received them as pre-order bonuses. |

It's bad enough to split up 5 pre-orders across 5 different stores but to allow one country to have all of them... Well how can EA justify that as fair?

Yes that's correct, according to the store: "Any client who pre-orders the game will be entitled to the Special Sims Objects (...) The links and the codes will be sent by e-mail, etc...." and that's only for the store you mentioned. I don't know about the other ones but I think they have them too. Btw thanks for posting the info here elkster.

no i still haven't and i cann't tell you how much am upset really but thanks for asking and trying to see if i get a credit card to buy a new computer but the thing is i don't have not credit what so ever so am getting a hard time getting a credit card. | ||||

As far as I'm aware, there's now seven.
The five pre-orders, although not entirely sure of their official names. Gamerockr Chair Wallscreen TV Large Standing TV Glowstation PC Wallspeaker Stereo System Then there's the two Sims 3 based skins that Iceyboi83 and hobbitgrl just posted, which as I understand are included in the case of Apartment Life. (Sucks to use EA downloader huh? )

Yes that's what I have Paladin. I tried the code for the chair for one of the other bonuses but it didn't work, so I guess it's a different code for each item.

Meh... Was just going by past experience and trying it out, incase they had set some of the codes to multiple items again.
Similary going by past experience, I'd say it's a good guess that the other objects are going to be outdated by recent expansions and will need updating by a community member too. So we'll get the pre-orders but then inevitably we'll have to update them anyway to include all the functions added in by expansion packs.

Straight away found a problem.
The new stereo doesn't play Custom Stations.
Similary I've never seen a fix for the Easter Egg Radio and Deluxe Jukebox for the same problem... Anyone else got one at all? |

It's quite simple to update stereos. Just delete TTAs (Pie Menu Strings). | ||||
