I am sure this has been posted elsewhere but I would like to sum it up here anyway.
The American EA Store offers a pre-order pack consisting of a car download (a different one than in the collector's edition) and a poster of the neighborhood. The poster is supposed to be a digital version with some US stores also selling a print-out.
The German Amazon Store offers the same car download and the same poster as a "Vorbestellpack" (pre-order pack) which would be shipped a few weeks before Sims3 is actually released. Also this pack may be purchased for 10 Euros seperately from Sims3.
But when ordering the Collector's Edition (remember, it has a different packaging, the sims3 theme music as cellphone ringtone, a USB-stick in plumbbob shape, a car downloadlink and the official Prima Guide) one can get the pre-order pack for free.
Anyway, I ordered the Collector's Edition and the Pre-Order Pack (which is still marked with 10 Euros in the invoice but the whole invoice is being reduced by a 10 Euro gift certificate automatically, so I really do not pay for the Pre-Order Pack.
I will examine the contents and maybe deduce something about the way downloads in Sims3 are integrated, then we will see, if it is possible to share these download links.

I just got a mail by Amazon.de, saying that the pre-order pack has been postponed, it will be sent together with the collector's edition on Feb 20th. (the item description page always said Jan 15th).
Also I read on Simtimes.de hat it will not be possible to load custom textures into the game, so I wonder how downloads like the floral pattern on the Target Preview Disc will be integrated.

I haven't got a picture of it or seen it for that matter. Harvey Norman Stores in Australia have got a Vintage Car instead of the Euro sports car for a Pre order bonus with the collectors edition along with a Flashing Plumbob keyring as well the USB and other stuff.

I got the pre-order pack today.
It consists of a folded poster of the neighbourhood, a paper with the downloadlink for the car and some stickers, all crammed into a dvd-box.
I have not tried the URL for the download yet, but have read in some forums that the link is not yet active.

Well, MTS has found a way to integrate custom textures, see my thread about installing downloads.
BTW: as soon as I have downloaded the car, I can upload it to Mediafire for you.
