Found another skinpack that I seem to be missing...
Has anyone still got a copy of the Gamespot Skinpack that was released as a promotion for Bodyshop before The Sims 2 was even released?
Ironically I've got the IGN Skinpack and could swear I kept them together...
However if I have got it, it's buried away on a CD somewhere and I can't find it. >.< |

At first look it seems I do not have them either.
I will check more thoroughly this evening if I have the time (tomorrow very early I will travel to the Games Convention in Leipzig, where Sims3 and Apartment Life will be presented). |

Here you go Paladin http://www.megaupload.com/?d=BGH1A23F I had them both in a .zip file, so I've upped it at megaupload. But didn't they have an odd effect to the skins when the game was released? _________________

Thanks for that.
Been looking for this and could ony find it in 200+MB zip files, packaged with Bodyshop but unfortunately on the slowest servers you could imagine.
So thought I'd check here to see if I could avoid a 5 hour download and thankfully I can.

I'm fairly certain that, that is only the starter.package that Maxis released with Bodyshop. As ages ago, I previously had the problem that you mention in my game. The effect was that babies would have horrible textute mapping on their faces... Causing eyes and faces to appear on them, very much like freaky tattoos.
Finally discovered that starter.package is what was causing this error, however I left the IGN and Gamespot packages installed and found that even with them still in my game, that the error still fixed itself. Additionally I had them installed for a very long time too and I never had any problems with them.
Similary my current downloads folder already contains the IGN skinpack package and I can't say I've encountered any problems, however if I do have any problems when I re-install the Gamespot package later, I'll be sure to let you all know.
Thankfully though, this time my downloads folder and general storage of downloadable content is *far* more organised. So if I do have a problem, it's much easier removed. |

Well it's been a few days and I have had no exploding Sims or Sim babies yet... So fingers crossed that means that it's okay...
