Hmm... Appears we're not there quite yet...
As many people, myself included seem to be having problems with the new download.
It seems as though there's 2 main issues that may occur.
1. Each recolour of the Fusion appears in the lot catalog as an individual object.
2. The Fusion clashes in someway with the Focus, causing either a complete write over or a merging of colouring over the incorrect mesh so that the car looks visibly glitched.
Personally I don't have the Fusion recolours appearing as individual objects, my problem is that the Fusion and Focus are clashing and causing the errors I listed in point 2.
There's one main thread on the official forums here detailing player's problems with the download:
http://bbs.thesims2.ea.com/commun...item.104,item.41,item.127,item.23
However at the time of writing this there's been no official word from Maxis/EA about the errors discovered above.
Hopefully though they'll read about the bugs and get to work on a fixed version of the download.
In the meantime though, if you've already installed both cars and finding you're having problems with them, I would download the Content Manager tool located here:
http://thesims2.ea.com/getcoolstuff/contentmanager.php
Find the Focus and Fusion amongst your downloads and delete them completely from the game until a fix is released, that way both cars will be a fresh install once you've downloaded an updated version of the cars and should help prevent further errors. |

Yeah I have that problem too... I already deleted the Ford Fusion and Ford Focus and re-installed Ford Focus. And right now, I'm waiting for the fix.
EDIT: I signed your website's guestbook. _________________ "liek", "moar", "peopel" and "lawlz" ----------> "ZOMG" xD |
